Hey guys,

As some of you know I got accepted into the Berlinale Talent Campus taking place in Berlin, Germany during the Berlin International Film Festival. I am really excited about this as it is a unique opportunity to network with fellow filmmakers from around the world and have a week full of talks about filmmaking with genuises like Janusz Kaminski and Wim Wenders. I would like to thank all of you who worked with me over the past years as you guys are a big part of me getting into this great program. I will keep you posted and I’ll try to take some pictures this time and update my blog more recently. The BTC takes place from Feb. 5th – Feb 12th.

On another note I let a friend of mine go through some footage that I shot and compile a new showreel out of it. I will post the results pretty soon. He did a really good job on it and I would like to thank him for that.

I’ve done a lot of projects this year that pushed me both as a human being and as a cinematographer and I just wanted to take a second and thank everybody that worked with me this year. I enjoyed working with you all and hope that we will work again soon in the very near future.

As of the end of this week I am a film school graduate and hunting for jobs, so if you guys are working on any projects and they need extra crew, think about the people you worked with before first . I am also currently trying to pull together all the footage from all productions I did this year to include them in an updated version of my reel.

I am currently prepping 2 shorts to be shot in January. I will try to update my website more often now and keep you updated on what I am doing.

I hope all of you are celebrating christmas in some way or another and I am looking forward to seeing all of you in the new year and hope that we will all continue working together.

Hey guys,

I know, I know, its been a while since my last blog entry. I have been super busy
with color timing the short “Sallow Creatures” with the fantastic Apple Color application.
I am learning to love this new app more and more. The capabilities are just great. The short
was shot on the HVX200 using the PS Technik 35mm adapter with Arri Super Speed Lenses.

Hope you like it . I am also in pre-production of a short named
“Remembering Whiskey” which is going to be shot on Super16mm next weekend.
I can’t wait to start shooting. I am very excited for this shoot.

More to come soon guys. I’ll upload a first cut of “Sallow Creatures” from the first color
timing run.

Hey guys,After 1 hour of painful editing I finished to merge some new footage into a “Showreel” – or how
they call it. I am not awfully proud but maybe I’ll hire a real editor like my friends Brett and
Fred to do the job again, but I didn’t want to bother them this time. I up-converted all the
footage I had to DVCPRO HD 1080 Format – gotta love the new Final Cut Studio.

Hey Guys,

I was director of photography on 2 Videos for the Heinz Ketchup commercials challenge. Our crew was very small but all people were
really creative and fun to work with. Those videos were done without any budget and just pure creativity . So please vote for them because we want win the contest
and raise money for a feature film. Let me also know how you like them. But please give the maximum vote on them as
we need to have a lot of people voting for them in order to get into the final 15 where I will send out another email to you guys
to vote again.

We finally finished color grading “Left for God”. The short was directed by Ken Morales and shot by myself on DVCPRO HD. I hope you guys like the tiny short.
